According to White House advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci, “it likely does,” he told NBC News’ TODAY on Monday.

Dr Fauci explained, that masks are physical coverings that prevent respiratory droplets from spreading to other people and provide a degree of protection to the wearer.

For months we have been told that wearing a face mask reduces the transmission of Covid-19, because it prevents your respiratory droplets from spreading and potentially infecting other people. Now, the CDC wrote in a scientific brief, that masks can also protect the wearer from other people’s droplets. So how many layers of masks and what type should you wear?

The tighter the fabric or more layers you put on, the more protection you will have. But who can live like that? At some point, you feel claustrophobic and like you can’t get enough air. Heat, steam and sweat often build up inside your mask leading people to lift off their mask to get some cool air, which is completely contradictory to what you are trying to do in the first place.

Experts say to talk less and breath out of your nose to reduce the humidity level in your mask. Most people barely get out now so telling them to talk less so they can bear wearing the mask seems very frustrating and restrictive.

So, what’s the alternative if you want to venture out into the world these days?

What if you could spray your mask with an antimicrobial spray that adheres to the fabric and positively charges the surface like a strong magnet that pulls germs to their death? Even aerosols? Check out Gold shield GS5 or GS75. This spray is effective for up to 50 washes for clothing or cloth masks. This product kills bacteria and viruses on your mask that either land there from the air or are placed there by you when you touch contaminated surfaces then touch your mask.

Spraying your mask with GS24 or washing it with GS5 will add another layer of protection that will not contribute to less breathability.
